The length of the certificate's validity can be found in the certificate section of each course on their individual web page.

The expire date is clearly printed on all our certificates

Am i entitled to attend a first aid at work Re-qualification course?

You should renew your First aid certificate before your certificate expires
The best time to do this would be within 1 month either side of the expiry date.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) states:

'Employers and learners should be aware that there is an increased risk of failing to
meet the required standard if previous certification has expired by a considerable period,
typically 1 month,
if this is the case it may be prudent to complete a three day course.'

I have lost my certificate, can you provide a replacement?

Yes
we can provide a replacement
however there will be a fee for this service, currently the fee is £5.50.

I have a First aid at Work certificate from another training provider, can i still attend the First aid at Work Re-qualification course with The Training Fox?

The syllabus of the First aid at Work qualifications are the same across the country and therefore can be used with any training provider to complete the First aid at Work Re-Qualification.

What is an RQF?
On the 1st of October 2015, OfQUAL replaced the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) with the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

The RQF gives Awarding Bodies like Qualsafe Awards, greater freedom to design qualifications and assessments that work best for learners, it is a tool designed to help people better understand regulated qualifications and how they relate to each other in terms of difficulty and size.

All qualfiications will have a level attached to them from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3 and Level 1 to 8), they will also have a
Total Qualification Time (TQT) and Guided Learner Hours (GLH),
all of our course pages show the GLH through the ‘Qualification Contact Teaching Hours’ star. Your accredited qualification certicate clearly states the level of your course!

You can view further information on the RQF by clicking here.
