Community Resilience Qualifications

During the first 6 months of 2017, we have seen an increase in situations that would be described as extreme and needing some extreme First Aid. In such circumstances, it is the general public who make the difference before the medical staff teams are allowed into the environment to help save lives.

Of course we are talking about terrorist attacks on our Great Britain.

This page is dedicated to the memory

of all those who lost their lives in these extreme situations.

Without the general public assisting other human beings in the immediate aftermath of these events the list of names above would have been a lot longer, with the injured number being a lot less.

‘The world is a dangerous place,

not because of those who do evil, but because

of those who look on and do nothing.’

Albert Einstein

We have a qualification designed to give members of the public confidence in assisting others should they be in a situation such as this. We cover in the event of a:

Our Extreme Situation First Aid qualification:

Level 2 Award in CitizenAID (RQF)

Attacks like these are incredibly rare.

However,

we should all remain vigilant and be prepared but not scared.

The terrorist attacks that have occurred on our shores this year have been from both extreme Islamic ideology as well as from the far right wing.

Although, we are discussing terrorism on this page, one thing comes through in each attack, and that is the bravery and quick-thinking of the members of the public, who helped to save so many lives in each attack.
